Survival Guide for a Suffering World

SUDDENLY – A man hears a fire alarm and opens the door of his office to find himself surrounded by flames! In an instant he is filled with fear and panic. He tries to find a way of escape, but there is none. The roof is starting to collapse and he feels the heat of the fire.

There is no way out and he realizes that he is going to die by being burned alive. The mental attitude changes and the man begins to think seriously about only himself. There is no one to help him and he cries out “Lord, help me”!!! Then the man feels a hand on his shoulder and turns to see a fireman. He recognizes that it is really a fireman. He recognizes his helmet, badge, and coat. Suddenly there is hope.

The fireman says “Follow me, I now the way out!!” The man does not question the fireman and knows that he is the only hope. It would be an act of insanity and suicide to do otherwise. A choice has to be made. Common sense says to recognize and follow the one who knows the way out.

Outside the building the man’s family and friends are waiting and there is great joy when the fireman leads him out to safety and life. He has survived near death. Only his life and living was thought of. His possession, status in life, what anyone thought of him did not matter, only living mattered. He has survived.

Would you like to survive a suffering world and beyond? If you are serious about finding the way out, then you will have to be serious about the rest of what you will read here.

Know that God made this world, God made you and He cares and loves you very much. He is a loving, forgiving and merciful God. He gave us His very own survival book, and HOLY WORD, “THE HOLY BIBLE”. Even more than that, he gave us a HOLY SAVIOR, which is not only our guide through this world but the way to forgiveness of sin and to the free gift of eternal life.

Jesus said in John Chapter 14:8 “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. NO ONE CAN COME TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.”
Jesus also said in John Chapter 3:16 “FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS OLY SON SO THAT EVERYONE WH BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNL LIFE! GOD DID NOT SEND HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO ONDEMN IT, BUT SAVE IT.”

These scriptures go far beyond today and your daily troubles, but since your survival today may be very heavy on your mind, we will talk about that a little more.

SURVIVAL – LIFE ITSELF, OR TO EXIST BEYOND
Since the dawn of civilization man has struggled to survive and to live. Even in the most remote places of the world, the most ignorant savage has struggled to survive. Why?

There is something associated with living that gives every creature the will to live. Animals have a built in sense of direction, where t find water, and shelter. They even know when the weather is going to change sometimes before anyone else can see it.
With a man it I a little different because God has given him a soul and intelligence far greater than an animal, but he also has that same will to survive and to live.

AND WHAT ABOUT GOD?
The Bible says in Proverbs 1:7 “FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING OF NOWLEDGE. ONLY FOOLS DESPISE WISDOM AND DISCIPLINE.” There are many that say there is no God. What about you? Are you going to survive this struggling sinful world?
Ask yourself these questions. Do I want peace and happiness in my life? Do I want to live a good, happy life and survive its pitfalls and why does it have to be this way anyhow?

Take a good look around you, my friend. No matter what you believe or don’t believe there are certain things around you that you cannot deny or do anything about. No one can stop the world from turning or sop the sun from rising or the moon from rising in the dark of night. One would be totally ignorant to think of it.

No one can deny there are two forces in this world, good and evil. Each day everyone has to choose between the two. If you know a little ahead, you will survive. Most people know not to cross the street in front of a speeding car, or to step off a cliff. That is just a simple common sense choice. Each day is filled with choices. It is up to the individual to make the right one. The choice we make will determine if we live or die, or how well we will live until we die.

No one can stop the changing of the seasons or the rising of the sun or moon. No matter what happens or doesn’t happen death will come to all people.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.” Psalms 23:4. Jesus said “Don’t be troubled. You trust God, now trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father’s home. If this were not o, I would tell you plainly. WHEN EVERYTHING IS READY, I WILL COME, AND GET YOU, SO THAT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WITH ME WHERE I AM.” John 14: 1-3

In this information we will try to be your guide to help you find some answers and guide you to an even greater book, THE HOLY BILE, that will answer and guide you to JESUS THE HOLY SAVIOR, the greatest guide that ever was or ever will be.

At this point make up your mind to finish reading all that is written here. It could mean everything to your survival.
Yes, you were made in the image of God and for God. He not only gave us his instruction and guide book, THE HOLY BIBLE, but he sent us the Guide that goes with it, Jesus Christ. That is right, God had a plan from the beginning.

In the book of John, Chapter 1 verses 1-5 God said “in the beginning the word (Jesus Christ) already existed. He was with God, and he was God. He created everything there is. Nothing exists that he didn’t make. Life itself was in Him, and this life gives light to everyone. This light shines through the darkness and the darkness can never extinguish it.”
Many find it hard to believe, but it cannot be disproved that God became a man and walked among us to be our guide, not only through this evil and suffering world, but to die for our sins and lead us to the free gift of eternal life.
In every military in every country, a survival course is taught. All soldiers listen and learn because they know their life may depend on their skills. At the beginning of many of the courses it is taught to have the right attitude and determination not to give up or quit. What is your attitude today?

Learn this great truth, that there is a God and He is the one in control, no matter what anyone else may think. He is watching over you and most of all He loves you and wants to help you. Only you know what is in your heart. No one but God can know your secret thoughts.

“THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE SHELTER OF THE MOST HIGH WILL FIND REST IN THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY.” Psalms 91:1
At this point some may be thinking, “I don’t believe in things I cannot see.” Well then think about this, do you believe in the wind? Now you may say, “Well that is a stupid question. Of course, I believe in the wind.” Remember, you just said you don’t believe in what you can’t see.

You can’t see the wind, but you can feel it on your face and you can see what it does and its power. You know to take shelter from it in a storm. You may say “Well I have not seen God?” I can certainly assure you that He is there and like the wind, you can feel Him and see what He does.

In the book of John chapter 11 verse 1-44 the Bible tells the story of Lazarus. Lazarus was a friend of Jesus that became very ill. The sisters of Lazarus sent for Jesus because Jesus was a man that had done great miracles and they knew He could heal Lazarus, but Lazarus died before Jesus got there.

Lazarus had been dead and buried for 4 days. When Jesus called his name, Lazarus walked out of the tomb alive There were several Jewish leaders that refused to believe, it, while everyone else including other Jewish leaders saw with their own eyes and believed.

The ones that did not believe their own eyes did not believe because they had hardened their hearts. Their minds had drifted in to the demonic world of Satan where reality and truth do not exist.
This is where the evil world is today. It is in a fantasy world of make believe that refuses to know the truth that can only be found in Jesus Christ.

At this moment you may have big time problems and be really suffering. Please know the truth and decide to follow Christ. What will you do with Jesus???

HOW CAN YOU SURVIVE THIS EVIL WORLD
The following scriptures from the Bible will tell you what must be done to survive this world and receive eternal life.
1. You need to be saved. “For all have sinned and came short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
2. Those that refuse to believe in Jesus as their Savior will be punished in a real place called hell. “For the wages of sin is death (the second death in hell); but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
3. Jesus died for all sinners including you. “But God showed His love towards us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
4. You must accept Jesus Christ to be saved. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Roman 10:13
5. You can be saved now! If you wish to accept Christ into your heart and life you can be saved today. Here is a prayer if you pray it, and mean it with your heart, you can be saved in the next few moments. All your sins can be forgiven.

“Dear Lord Jesus I know I am a sinner. I ask you right now to forgive my sins and open to my heart. I now receive you as my Savior and Lord. Help me to live for you all of my life and help me to know that I am really saved. In Jesus Name. Amen”
May God bless you in the most important decision of your life.
If you have made the decision to follow Christ, following are some important steps to remember.
